Last night I went to the book release party for the Friends of Lulu Anthology. Super fun night with some very lovely people. Alisa autographed books, which (like her) was hawt. Thanks to Liam, Nat, and Ray for coming out!

Anyhoo, I really liked the energy at MOCCA, and finished up my last doodle in honor of the evening.

Gal artists kick ass. xoxo to mine.

oh and also? this weekend alis and i realized that we can, in fact, play pool. but that's a story for another time.

Just the idea that this kind of shit can still exist on the bus is beyond me. While at some point every new yorker has endured some WTF moment of prejudice against them, the idea that thebus driver didn't do anything? It's funny that you can't ride any nyc metro without seeing a sign warning you that any attack on a metro operator/worker leads to a minimum amount of jailtime and a fine. maybe we need some fucking signs up for jailtime/fine warnings that come with attacking lone children.

i'm having a really great holiday. my sister's family is in town and i've been playing with my nephew caden like EVERY DAY. so much joy in this house. really good stuff.

alis and I celebrated the holidays and our anniversary with some colab art. the best part of artworking with my cutie is how i'm automatically off to a good start with the paints. i constantly tell alis how strong her lines are. of how i see entire worlds behind her lines.
